Product submissions

When you submit a product, we collect the product details, your name and email, your consent, and basic attribution such as the page and referral source. Your submission stays private during review. Contact details are used for review and related correspondence, not published on product profiles.

Service providers

Upvote is operated through the PRPTY network. Netlify hosts the site and stores the review queue and votes. Submissions may be forwarded through Cloudflare to our GoHighLevel contact system and Resend for an internal team alert. These providers may process information outside Canada. We do not send automatic registration or customer confirmation emails.

Anonymous voting and saved picks

A first-party cookie helps recognise repeat voting. A one-way keyed hash of network information helps reduce abuse; raw IP addresses are not saved in voting records. Hosting providers may retain standard security logs. Saved picks and initial referral information are kept in your browser. Clearing browser storage removes saved picks.

Your choices

You can browse without submitting contact details. This release does not load advertising or third-party analytics scripts. Ask to access, correct or delete a submission by using the submission form, explaining your request and giving the original email address. We may verify that you control it before acting.

Retention

Submission information is kept while review, listing maintenance or related correspondence requires it. Anonymous votes remain with their product unless removed for abuse or a product is retired. We do not sell submission contact details.
