The story & the craft.
Sometimes a worthwhile local find is a place to spend an afternoon. Alcove welcomes people working on personal projects, and its programs give readers another way to meet local creativity in person.
The organization also accepts artist and community-event proposals. That is a route to learn about opportunities; it is not a promise that every proposal will be accepted.

Alcove publishes routes for artists to propose exhibitions, performances and workshops, and for community event inquiries.
A proposal is reviewed by the organizer. A link to the inquiry route does not establish acceptance or a booked event.

Check Core drop-in hours and the current calendar. Workshops usually require registration, and some programs have an admission or donation amount. Beltline is for booked events and workshops rather than drop-ins.
