THE PERSON BEHIND THE WORKGary Lenett
Founder
DUER’s official story credits Lenett with developing the brand after seeking clothing suited to cycling and daily life.
The story & the craft.
Founder Gary Lenett describes starting DUER after switching from driving to cycling and wanting one wardrobe for more of his day. The company’s story identifies a Vancouver studio, and its West 4th shop carries men’s and women’s clothing. Canadian roots describe the business and design work, not domestic sewing.
Two useful starting points have different fabric balances. The men’s Performance Denim+ Straight in Alpine Indigo lists cotton, polyester and elastane; the women’s Stretch Canvas Utility Pant in Black is a relaxed fit with a higher cotton proportion. Both have a gusset, but measurements, rise and leg shape should drive a choice rather than a shared stretch label.
DUER’s factory page associates Performance Denim and No Sweat with Lahore, Pakistan. It does not separately establish the exact factory for the selected Denim+ variant or canvas trouser. Ask the Vancouver store about sizing, current style availability and its listed hemming or repair services before visiting; online country selection also needs attention.

Choose the correct regional store before ordering. The readable pages prove a Canadian retail route, not stock of every size there. Confirm fit, care and the exact item’s manufacture label.
The Canadian connection.
DUER’s story and current Vancouver store establish Vancouver design and retail roots. The factory page lists overseas production; the selected variants’ exact factory countries are not separately established.
